أهداف الوحدة
1. بعد إنهاء محتوى هذه الوحدة [Applied Linguistics] ينبغي على الطالب أن يكون قادرا على إستعمال أدوات لغوية [Linguistic tools] و مفاهيم [Linguistics concepts] و نظريات [Linguistic theories] تعلق بتدريس اللغة [Language teaching] و تعلم اللغة [Language learning] و علاج النطق و مشاكله [Speech therapy].

2. نظريات تعلم اللغة [Language learning theories].
3. علاج النطق و مشاكله [Speech therapy].
4. مواضيع مفتاح للبحث:
I) Language teaching and language learning.II) Teaching Methods and strategies:
a) The direct method.
b) The natural method.
c) The psychological method.
d) The phonetic method.
e) The reading method.
f) The grammar translation method.
g) The eclectic method.
h) The dual language method.
