Conditional Sentences In English: Conditional Type Zero, One, Two and Three
هناك أربعة أنواع من جمل (conditional) أو (if-sentences) في اللغة الإنجليزية و هي:
1. Conditional Type Zero2. Conditional Type One
3. Conditional Type Two
4. Conditional Type Three
كل نوع من أنواع جمل (conditional) له معاني و قواعد خاصة به.
في هذا الدرس سوف أشرح لك معاني جمل (conditional) و القواعد الخاصة بكل نوع من أنواع (conditional sentences). و في آخر المقال هناك تمرين تفاعلي يمكنك إنجازه هنا و التصحيح بنفسك.
أولا يجب أن تعرف أن كل جمل (conditional) تتضمن كلمة [if] و تعني (إذا) أو (لو) أو (إن) مثلا.
If I have money, I will buy a new car.
إن كان لدي المال، سوف أشتري سيارة.
ثانيا، لاحظ أن كل جمل (conditional) تنقسم إلى جزئين، تفصل بينها فاصلة (،).
If I have money, I will buy a new car.
إن كان لدي المال، سوف أشتري سيارة.
الجزء الذي يحتوي على كلمة [if] يسمى (if-clause) أو الشرط (condition). و الجزء الآخر يسمى (result clause) أي النتيجة.
If I have money, I will buy a new car.
إن كان لدي المال، سوف أشتري سيارة.

Conditional Type Zero
هذا النوع من (conditional) نستعلمه عندا نتحدث عن:
1. حقائق تابتة (Facts)
2. حقائق علمية (Scientific facts)
3. الحالات التي تبقى صحيحة أبدا (Situations that are always true).
أمثلة:

1. If you heat butter, it melts.
إن سخنت الزبدة، تنصهر.
2. If you drop a mirror, it smashes into small pieces.
إن رميت المرآة، تنكسر لأجزاء صغيرة.
3. If you eat fast food, you become fat.
إن أكلت الوجبات السريعة، تصبح سمينا.
كما تلاحظ كل هذه الحالات منطقية و صحيحة دائما. و هذا هو ما يسمى ب (conditional type zero).
القاعدة:

Conditional Type One
نستعمل هذا النوع من (conditional) لنتحدث عن:
1. الحالات الممكنة في الحاظر أو في المستقبل (Possible situations in the present and the future).
متلا:
1. If I have money, I will buy a new car.
إن كان لدي المال، سوف أشتري سيارة.
2. If you revise your lessons, you will get a good mark.
إن راجعت دروسك، سوف تحصل على نقطة جيدة.
3. If you invite me to the party, I will come.
إن دعوتني إلى الحفلة، سوف آتي.
القاعدة:

Conditional Type Two
نستعمل هذا النوع من (conditional) لنتحدث عن:
1. الحالات الإفتراضية (Hypothetical situations)
2. الحالات الخيالية (Imaginary situations)
3. الحالات المستحيلة (Impossible situations)
أمثلة:
1. If I were a bird, I would fly to USA.
لو كنت طائرا، لطرت لأمريكا.
2. If I had one billion, I would buy a yacht.
لو كان لدي مليارا، لأشتريت يختا.
3. If I were a king, I would buy a palace.
لو كنت ملكا، لأشتريت قصرا.
القاعدة:

Conditional Type Three
هذا النوع من (conditional) نستعلمه عندما نعبر عن الندم (regret) أو للحالات المستحيل تغيرها لأنها تعود على الماضي.
أمثلة:
1. If he had revised his lessons, he would not have failed his exams.
لو راجع دروسه، لما سقط في إمتحاناته.
2. If he had not driven his car very fast, he would not have had an accident.
لو لم يقود سيارته بسرعة، لما وقعت له حادثة سير.
3. If my team had played well, they would not have lost the game.
لو لعب فريقي بشكل جيد، لما خسروا المباراة
القاعدة:

| III. Conditional Type Two: |

| 3) If I (live) on a lonely island, I would run naked all day. |
| 4) Their father (be) so angry if they told him. |
| IV. Conditional Type Three: |
| 1) If he (revise) his lessons, he would not have failed his exams. |
| 2) If he had not driven so fast, he (have) an accident. |
| 3) If my team (play) well, they would not have lost that game. |
| 4) If I had known your address, I (visit) you. |
