من أهم ما ينبغي تعلمه في اللغة الإنجليزية في مستوى الثانية بكالوريا هو القدرة على الربط بين جملتين بإستعمال أدوات الربط (linking words) التي يمكن أن تعبر عن الإضافة (addition) أو السبب و النتيجة (cause and effect) أو الإستدراك (concession) إلى غير ذلك من أدوات الربط. في التمرين أسفله تجد مجموعة من الجمل و المطلوب منك هو أن تربط بين كل جملتين بإستعمال أدات الربط التي توجد بين قوسين في آخر كل جملة.
