ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS FROM THE TEXT.

[1] Women are central to the progress and development of countries. However, in many rural areas of Morocco, the living conditions of women are tough. Most women work as housewives doing house chores like cleaning, cooking and childcare while others work in the fields doing agricultural work in order to earn some money to provide for themselves and their families. Poverty is a very serious issue among women in remote areas of the country.

[2] In the region of Tafraoute in Morocco, women establish cooperatives to combat poverty and solve their financial problems. Women cooperatives are businesses or organizations that are created by women who share their benefits. Tifaouine Ameln is a very well-known Argan oil cooperative in Tafraoute. It is specialized in making Argan oil and other traditional products. Despite the fact that most Amazighs use Argan oil for cooking and dipping with bread, it has become a luxurious product in Europe.

[3] The cooperative has 36 women who come from various villages in the Ameln Valley. They show cooperation and solidarity when they harvest nuts from the Argan trees during the month of Agust. "Harvesting the Argan nuts is hard work, but when we do it together, it becomes a lot easier. We support each other and share the workload." Aicha says. Then, they grind the nuts and turn them into oil and other products. This process requires skill and patience, but as Khadija, a member of the cooperative, points out, "Making Argan oil is our tradition. It's something we've been doing for generations. Now, we're proud to continue this tradition and share our products with the world."

[4] Through their hard work and dedication, the women of Tifaouine Ameln cooperative have been able to improve their living conditions and break the cycle of poverty. As Fatima proudly declares, "Thanks to our cooperative, we no longer have to rely solely on our husbands for income. We have our own source of money, and we're able to support our families and invest in our children's future." Their success serves as an inspiration to women everywhere, proving that with cooperation and determination, anything is possible. As Aicha sums it up, "Together, we are stronger. Together, we can overcome any obstacle and build a better future for ourselves and our community."

[5] The biggest challenge of women in the Ameln cooperative is to secure a stable wage and constant local and international market. Tourists from different parts of the world come to the region especially to buy Argan. Nonetheless, in order to be sustainable and have a positive impact of reducing the rate of poverty among women, the Tifaouine Ameln cooperative has to diversify its market.
