أهداف الوحدة
1. التعامل مع قضايا تمثيل الدات و الآخر [representation of the self and the other] في النصوص مع الأخد بعين الإعتبار السياقات التاريخية [historical contexts] للنصوص قيد الدراسة و التحليل.
2. فهم الإستراتيجيات التي يعتمدها المؤلف لتوصيل الخطاب عن طريق النص.
محتوى الوحدة
1. ما هي الدراسات الثقافية [What is Cultural Studies].
2. مقدمة عامة للدراسات الثقافية [Introduction to cultural studies ] و نظرياتها [Cultural studies theories].
3. التقاليد الإنجليزية و ترجماتها [The British Tradition and its Translations].
