1. يجب على الطالب أن يكون قادرا على إستعمال تقنيات النقد الأدبي المختلفة [Techniques of literary criticism].
2. ينبغي على الطالب معرفة مختلف نظريات النقد الأدبي [Various theories of literary criticism].
